With the temperature increasing, three courts are now clear and it won’t take long for the others to clear. Hopefully by the end of the week all courts will be clear.
Dear Members, it is that time of year again when PLTC holds its AGM. As a member you really should try to make this meeting. It shows your support to the club and allows you to understand what happens at the club and allows you to ask questions directly to the whole committee.

If YOU would like to become involved on the committee – the sheet for nominations is posted in the club house. The Election of Pinner Lawn Tennis Club Committee for 2012 Season will be held at the Annual General Meeting on Sunday 4th March 2012 at 4 p.m.
Nominations are welcome for ALL Posts. Full Members are eligible to stand for any post. Midweek Members are eligible for all posts other than Chairman, Vice Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer, Men’s Captain or Ladies Captain. Continue reading
The draw for the Mixed Doubles Winter Knockout Tournament has now been made and can be seen on the Club tournaments page. Please check the draw and contact your partners and opposition to arrange your match. 1st round matches need to be completed by 19th February. Good luck and may the best team win!
Nigel with the rest of his team, Harvey Becker, Steven Riley, and Simon Curtis being presented by Greg Rededski with their title of team of the year after winning the National title. The presentation was at National Training Centre in Roehampton.
The David Harris Cup is now open for entries. This is a popular doubles tournament: ladies doubles, mens doubles and mixed doubles. All senior and Premier Junior players are welcome to enter. It takes place on Xmas Eve. See the calendar for details.
Pinner Mens 1st team have won the Middlesex Slazenger West Premier League title, triumphing over Ealing, Lensbury, Campden Hill, Wayfarers, Headstone and Queens tennis clubs, scoring a total of 100 points – 17 points ahead of their nearest rivals. Well done chaps!

Ciara is our highest qualified teaching professional ever besides Nigel Buckman. Ciara has been involved in development and performance players for the past 3 years running a very successful local club. She brings with her great enthusiasm, passion and skill and all the children and adults in our programme will benefit from her coaching.
Pierre has been working with players in development and performance at Gosling High Performance Centre in Welwyn . Pierre came off the tour two years ago to develop his passion for coaching and will be heavily involved in the development of all players in the programme.
